An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Publications Editor to work within the Communications and Marketing team at Catholic Education Melbourne

<h4>ABOUT THE POSITION </h4><p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Publications Editor who will perform an important role within the Communications &amp; Marketing team by creating high-quality publications for both CEM and Catholic Education Commission of Victoria (CECV), including online communications. Additionally, the Publications Editor will be dedicated to ensuring the accuracy and quality of communications and provide support and advice to CEM staff, including editing, proofreading and publication services. </p><p> The salary for this position is $80,000 per annum plus Superannuation in accordance with Superannuation Guarantee. Salary packaging arrangements are also available to staff of Catholic Education Melbourne. Professional working hours and annual leave of four weeks apply to this position. </p><h4> TO BE SUCCESSFUL </h4><p>The successful candidate will have a degree in editing or a related discipline, alongside strong in-house editing experience in all phases of publication development and production for print and online (minimum of 5 years preferred). Experience in a Catholic education setting will be highly advantageous. The Publications Editor must have well-developed skills in copy- editing, proofreading and writing, as well as good interpersonal and conceptual thinking skills.
