<p>As a part of the extra-curricular program Glasshouse Christian College offers GCC Performing Arts Academy – a dance and drama academy focused on providing students with the opportunity to further develop their technical dance and acting skills and provide the opportunity for external qualifications. The Academy functions outside of school hours. </p><p>The following two positions are available:</p><p>- An acrobatics teacher for Thursday afternoons/evenings in 2020. Acrobatic Arts certification would be an advantage, but not compulsory.</p><p>- A drama/ acting teacher for speech and drama classes, as well as performance teams. The afternoon/evening is flexible at this point in time.</p><p>To be successful applicants must:</p><ul><li>be willing to support the College values and ethos</li><li>have excellent skills in communicating with students and parents;</li><li>be able to teach individual students and group lessons as required by the Academy administrator; and</li><li>be willing to contribute to the development of performance opportunities held at Glasshouse Christian College as required by the Academy Administrator.</li></ul><p>Candidates shortlisted for interview will be expected to provide a Working with Children Check (or Blue Card) and have their own public liability insurance.</p><p>Closing date: Wednesday 9 January 2020 at 3pm.</p><p>Applications should include a covering letter and resume outlining experience and qualifications. </p><p>Please email all applications to: employment&#64;glasshouse.qld.edu.au</p>
