We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Digital Technology Applications Trainer

<p>St Francis Xavier College is a Catholic College with a 2020 enrolment of 3300 students which will continue to grow in 2021. </p><p>The College serves families from the parishes of Berwick, Koo Wee Rup, Maryknoll/Iona, Narre Warren and Pakenham under the governance of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL). </p><p>St Francis Xavier College is easily accessed via several major freeways – only 20 minutes on the M1 from Springvale Road. </p><p>The Applications Trainer works within the Digital Engagement Team by providing specific training to staff to support them with exploiting the technology assets within the College’s environment for the benefit of student achievement and College operations.</p><p><b>More specifically you will be responsible for: </b></p><ul><li>Implementing the College strategy for training teaching and operations staff in effective use of digital technology applications </li><li>Developing and implement group and individual training plans </li><li>Delivering training and presentations to staff including online, phone, group and one to one software training </li><li>Developing and maintain a digital online training program </li><li>Creating and update technical guides and documentation (online, video and text) </li><li>Maintaining accurate records for completed learning programs </li><li>Contributing to the Digital Engagement Teams’ ongoing review of staff use of digital technology </li><li>Supporting the Digital Technology Team with projects, administration and other duties as required</li></ul><p><b>To excel in this position you will have the following skills, experience and attributes: </b></p><ul><li>to engage staff and facilitate effective training </li><li>High level ability to use a variety of software programs </li><li>Interpersonal skills to relate professionally with staff </li><li>Ability to prepare clear and effective multi-mode application user guides </li><li>Ability to analyse and interpret data </li><li>Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team </li><li>Can demonstrate high levels of discretion and professional judgement </li><li>Organised with the ability to manage competing priorities </li><li>Understanding of relevant compliance regimes </li><li>Commitment to occupational health and safety</li></ul><p>The successful incumbent is required to travel between our 3 campuses and must hold a current drivers licence with access to a motor vehicle. </p><p>Staff are employed under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018. This fixed term full time role is a Category A, Education Support Employee Level 3.
