<p>St Francis Xavier College is a Catholic College with a 2020 enrolment of 3300 students which will continue to grow in 2021. </p><p>The College serves families from the parishes of Berwick, Koo Wee Rup, Maryknoll/Iona, Narre Warren and Pakenham under the governance of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL). </p><p>St Francis Xavier College is easily accessed via several major freeways – only 20 minutes on the M1 from Springvale Road. </p><p>We are seeking a motivated and suitably experienced Digital Technology Support Technician to provide a broad range of IT &amp; AV support services to both staff and students, while undertaking them with minimal disruption to the operations of the College. </p><p><b>More specifically you will be responsible for: </b></p><ul><li>Level 2 support for IT Help Desk requests </li><li>Prioritising and resolving enquiries escalated through the helpdesk ticketing system </li><li>Providing staff and student support for digital technology in the classroom environment </li><li>Delivery and set up of equipment for classes as required </li><li>Set up, operate and control digital technologies for campus performances and campus events including assemblies and masses </li><li>Assisting with the routine servicing and maintenance of digital technology to ensure it is in circulation and available for use </li><li>Assisting in maintaining stock records including; equipment quantities, locations and items on loan </li><li>Supporting the Digital Technology Team with projects, administration and other duties as required </li></ul><p><b>To excel in this position you will have the following skills, experience and attributes: </b></p><ul><li>A relevant degree or diploma would be highly desirable <br /></li><li>Understanding of digital technology software, systems and hardware </li><li>Advanced computer skills </li><li>Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team </li><li>Interpersonal skills to relate professionally with students and staff </li><li>Commitment to excellence in customer service </li><li>Ability to analyse and problem solve </li><li>Understanding of relevant compliance regimes </li><li>Commitment to occupational health and safety </li></ul><p>The successful incumbent is required to travel between our 3 campuses and must hold a current drivers licence with access to a motor vehicle. </p><p>Staff are employed under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018. This full time, ongoing role is a Category A, Education Support Employee Level 2.
