<p>ABOUT THE POSITION <br /></p><p>Application are invited from suitably qualified and experiences persons for the position of Learning Consultant, Positive Behaviour for Learning</p><h4>KEY SELECTION CRITERIA </h4><p>1. Demonstrated understanding of state and national policies and curriculum in relation to inclusive teaching practices. </p><p>2. Extensive knowledge of the key principles and systems to support Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). </p><p>3. Experience in implementation within a school setting and ability to work with school teams to implement with fidelity. </p><p>4. Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate professional learning </p><p>5. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation – i.e. Disability Discrimination Act, Disability Standards for Education, Restraint and Seclusion, OH&amp;S, Privacy, Health Records and Equal Opportunity Act </p><p>6. Outstanding interpersonal, mediation and communication skills, including: (i) experience in working with families and school leadership teams; (ii) ability to operate effectively within a multidisciplinary team; (iii) capacity to communicate effectively across a broad range of contexts including with government, regional representatives, sector representatives, and school leadership </p><p>7.
