Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

<p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Diversity Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.</p> <p>Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and share in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p>The Diversity Teacher will fit the following criteria:</p> <p>-Extensive pedagogical knowledge and understanding of how students best learn. Including how to differentiate learning.</p> <p>-Ability to cater for students with substantial and extensive adjustments to learning.</p> <p>-Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills with knowledge and experience of specialised programs.</p> <p>-Able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents and students to identify and plan for teaching and learning for students with diverse needs.</p> <p>-Sound understanding of learning environments, the learning cycle and the effective use of technology to support student engagement and learning.</p> <p>-Strategically and collaboratively promote a school-wide culture of inclusive learning including the professional development of staff.</p> <p>-Knowledge and skills in completing Personalised Plans and tracking individualised student goals.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p>Catholic Education within the Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment in its primary and secondary schools and for early learning and out of school hours care centres in western Sydney.
