<p><b>CLASSROOM TEACHER </b></p><p><b>STEM – SCIENCE SPECIALIST </b></p><p>St Simon the Apostle Catholic Primary School is located in Rowville. We work closely with our Parish. </p><p>We are currently seeking a classroom teacher. This person demonstrates the qualities of a Catholic teacher, by supporting the school to: </p><ul><li>build positive partnerships with students, their families, staff and the wider St Simon the Apostle Community </li><li>working with Leadership and staff to develop strategic plans and set annual goals </li><li>continually review the implementation of and track essential assessment of the Victorian Curriculum monitor the progress of students across a year level ensuring each student is on the way to meeting his/her potential during the primary school years</li><li>ensure Child Safety Standards are met in all areas of the school and parent community alongside other leaders. </li></ul><p>For further details, please refer to the attached role description. </p><p>The position of teacher / STEM Specialist will be offered initially on a fixed term basis for the period January, 2020 to January, 2021, with the opportunity for renewal in 2021. </p><p>This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. </p><p><br /></p>
