St Therese’s Catholic Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Performing Arts teacher who can create a positive, engaging learning environment in the area of Performing Arts. This is a 0.1 position for 2020. This is a half a day a week position on a Thursday morning.
<p>The successful candidate will engender a love of the Performing Arts in our Infants classes. <br /></p><p>They will have: </p><p>• a strong commitment to the Catholic Identity of the school</p><p>• a commitment to the ongoing professional learning and continuing development of a positive school culture</p><p>• capacity to promote contemporary and innovative practices with a particular focus in the area of Music and Performing Arts</p><p>• develop and maintain positive, caring relationships with students, staff and parents</p><p>• excellent interpersonal and communication skills</p><p>• plan and implement a highly structured program in Music and Performing Arts</p><p>• use formative assessment to adjust and target teaching</p><p>• cater for a range of student needs through differentiation</p><p>• work and plan collaboratively with others</p><p>• encourage a growth mindset in students</p><p>• provide holistic, challenging and engaging learning experiences</p>
