<p>                                                <b>2 Point Co-ordinator/Special Needs <br /></b>                                                            <b>Full time Permanent <br /></b>                                                            <b>Commencing 2020 </b></p><p> A sound knowledge of and commitment to the mission of Catholic Education is essential. </p><p> The successful applicants may also possess: </p><p> • Engagement and contribution to the life and mission of the Catholic Church </p><p>• Proven ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team </p><p>• Show highly effective interpersonal and organisation skills </p><p>• Demonstrate capacity to provide ongoing professional learning opportunities for staff informed by sound EAL/D pedagogy </p><p>• Ability to lead date analysis to collaboratively plan, model and teach explicit, to support student learning in Literacy </p><p>• Capacity to collaboratively evaluate and monitor literacy practices to ensure improved student growth. </p><p>• Willingness to engage staff through the promotion of high expectations for all students. </p><p> • Qualifications in Special Education and a commitment to ongoing professional learning or a willingness to take on study </p><p>• Understand the importance of data and how this can be translated through individual personalised plans </p><p>• To assist individual goal setting and respond to the directions of the Disability Standards Act for Education (2005) </p><p>• Demonstrates open communication and the capacity to work collaboratively, as part of a team </p><p>• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills including positive working relationships with parents. </p><p>• Demonstrates competency and proficiency in creating a learning environment reflective of contemporary pedagogy </p><p>• Demonstrates skills in the integration of ICT to support the diverse needs of students </p><p>• Display passion, positivity and advocacy for students with a disability </p><p> Three referees are required with one being the Priest of your place of worship and to be submitted with your application. </p><p> Applications will only be received by email to: </p><p>info&#64;stgsmithfield.catholic.edu.au </p><p> </p><p><br /></p>
