<p><b>MAINTENANCE &amp; FACILITIES OFFICER</b> (76 hours per fortnight) </p><p>Applications are sought for a committed professional to join the Marist Catholic College maintenance staff as a Maintenance and Facilities Officer. The College will be a dual campus school from 2020. This is a full time position to commence January 2020. Duties include: </p><p>• Maintenance of College equipment, resources and grounds. </p><p>• Care of the College bus including being a driver with the appropriate license. </p><p>• Coordinating various suppliers and contractors on matters that relate to the day to day operations of the College; such as plumbing, electrical, waste disposal, fire services and  safety equipment. </p><p>• Being on call for emergency work. </p><p>The successful applicant will need to have proficient skills and related trade qualifications suited to a maintenance and repair role. They will display a professional manner in dealing with people and have an appreciation of the nature of a school site, including the confidentiality that this workplace environment requires. An ability to work independently with initiative in meeting deadlines is an essential part of this position. An understanding of and support for the Catholic ethos of the College would be seen as an advantage.
