Endeavour College values staff who enthusiastically engage in their work as a Christian vocation that is based on caring relationships with students and staff. All staff are expected to participate in the school's extracurricular program. Being able to actively support the aims of a Christian school is essential.
Endeavour College aims to develop a culture where relationships are valued and members feel connected, safe and respected. This approach fosters an optimal learning environment to fulfill staff and students' God given abilities for life and community. Core to this framework is a focus on Restorative Practice which emphasises working with Endeavour College community members to address behaviour and value relationships. It calls community members to make a personal transformation from a focus on the self towards a focus on others and the common good, and as such it reflects the model of Christ in terms of dealing with others.
The Endeavour Way is:
LOVE - it's about reflecting the unconditional LOVE of God by showing respect, compassion and kindness in our relationships.
COURAGE - it's about accepting that it takes COURAGE to own our behaviour, take responsibility for our actions and share our experiences with others.
FORGIVENESS - it's about showing FORGIVENESS and acceptance towards ourselves and others with grace.
HOPE - it's about resolving issues in a way which brings HOPE to our relationships and instils faith in our capacity to fulfil our God-given abilities
