St Joseph's High School Aberdeen is seeking a full-time Permanent Ministry Coordinator to commence in 2020. The position of Ministry Coordinator is a significant executive position with responsibility for the continued development of the Catholic ethos and spiritual experiences of staff and students within the school community. This role requires a high quality teaching and learning professional who models integrating Catholic perspectives into classroom practice. The following are some aspects of the role: <br/>• Facilitating spiritual experiences for staff and students; <br/>• Liaising with parish communities to develop connection between school and parish; <br/>• Facilitating liturgical experiences; <br/>• Coordinating annual retreat, reflection and community days; <br/>• Providing support for the development of prayer within the school; <br/>• Being an effective member of the school executive; <br/>• Being a member of the Catholic Schools Office ministry coordinator group.

Applicant must: <br>• Be a practising Catholic with an understanding of, and clear commitment to, the philosophy and objectives of Catholic Education; <br>• Willingness to fulfill the requirements of the Diocesan Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead 2018 Policy; <br>• Have appropriate teaching and Religious Education qualifications; <br>• Have an ability to relate well with others and to collaborate in teams; <br>• Have experience and competency in coordinating retreats, liturgy, prayer etc; <br>• Have an ability to liaise with and interact with parishes. <br> <h3>Essential Criteria:</h3> <br> • Current NESA Accreditation and Paid Working With Children Check (WWCC); <br>• Qualifications as a four year trained teacher; <br>• Completion of Anaphylaxis training; <br>• Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead 2018 - formerly the Faith Education Accreditation (FEA) Policy 2012; <br>• Current Accreditation at Category E – Accreditation for Senior Leadership or working towards this accreditation. <br> <h3>Desirable Criteria:</h3> <br> <br> <h3>Renumeration:</h3> <br> Salary is in accordance with New South Wales &amp; Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2017.
