Is a new P-Yr12 school. It is the result of a partnership between the CEO Wollongong and EREA.

<p dir="ltr"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><em><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 &amp; M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing P-12 Diocesan Catholic College in the Edmund Rice tradition. Established in 2017, the College expects to have a student population of 850 students for 2020 in Years K-10. The College is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the College is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8) and Senior Years Learning (9-12).</span></em></span></p> <p dir="ltr">A permanent full time position commencing 28 January 2020. The successful applicant will be led by the Leader of Diverse Learning and will work in a Diverse Learning team to develop and deliver advanced educational techniques for the College's gifted and talented programs.</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition.</li> <li>Proven ability to work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to identify and support students’ diverse learning and pastoral needs.</li> <li>Experience in providing direct support for students who require extension and enrichment through a range of strategies.</li> <li>An understanding of contemporary issues that relate to the learning needs of students.</li> <li>The ability to co-ordinate and facilitate collaborative meetings with parents, teachers and students to develop individual Personalised Plans (PPs).</li> <li>Skills in the collection and management of data around student learning.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Qualifications in Gifted Education</li> <li>Experience in K-12 schooling</li> </ul> <p><strong>Closing date: 25 November 2019 at 5pm</strong></p>
