<p>Holy Cross Catholic Primary School is a co-educational two stream Catholic Primary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney. It is a K-6 school, serving the parish of Holy Cross, Woollahra. </p><p>This leadership position requires the applicant to be an excellent classroom practitioner and leader of learning, who is passionate and dedicated to enhance student learning and build teacher capacity across the curriculum. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a professional, dynamic and collaborative leadership team whose members are committed to building the capacity of teachers to enhance learning outcomes for students. </p><p>Essential criteria</p><p>The successful applicant must:</p><p>• Have a sound knowledge of and commitment to the evangelising Mission of the Catholic Church </p><p>• Have Religious Education qualifications according to the SACS Board Policy </p><p>• A commitment to a shared vision for learning </p><p>• Strong inter-personal dimensions of leadership to foster positive professional and collaborative relationships </p><p>• Display a love of learning and an openness to professional feedback </p><p>• Have ability to monitor and evaluate the implementation of teaching strategies within the school, to improve student achievement, based on research </p><p>• Have knowledge and understanding of data, informed by research and the Professional Teaching Standards to inform teaching and learning programs </p><p>• Demonstrate the leadership confidence and skills to lead professional learning with teachers across the curriculum </p><p>• Display exemplary technology skills to enhance learning, lead teachers in the use of technology and support the school in the application of programs </p><p>• Demonstrate the capacity to use the Australian Professional Standards to support colleagues to identify and achieve professional development goals to improve classroom practice </p><p>• Display a commitment to initiating and engaging in professional dialogue with colleagues in a range of forums, to evaluate practice aimed at improving professional knowledge and practice and the educational outcomes of students </p><p>• Demonstrate the capacity to work with colleagues to plan, evaluate and modify learning and teaching programs, to create collaborative and dynamic learning environments that engage and motivate students, to reach their full learning potential. </p><p>• Have the ability to model exemplary teaching practice and give feedback to teachers in classrooms. </p><p>Successful completion of the registration process to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools is essential, which includes a Working With Children Check Clearance Number. </p><p><br /></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Applications close Friday 29th November 2019.</strong></p> <p> </p>
