St John's Catholic Primary School will be a two stream school up to Year 4 and one stream in Year 5 and Year 6 in 2020. It is a calm and positive school with a focus on learning growth for every child. For this permanent full time position we are seeking a passionate, engaging and experienced teacher.

<p>We welcome applications from qualified experienced primary teachers who have</p><p>Essential Criteria<br /></p><p>A knowledge of and commitment to the mission of the Catholic school. </p><p>Qualifications and accreditation to teach Religious Education according to the Sydney Catholic Schools Policy </p><p>An understanding of best practice and differentiation</p><p>Proven skills as a classroom teacher with the skills to teach Year 1 students in a highly  EALD context </p><p>Commitment to working with parents as partners in their children’s learning. </p><p>The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and Instructional Leaders to co-plan to ensure student growth. </p><p>An understanding of contemporary collaborative learning culture and an openness to giving and receiving feedback on teaching practice </p><p>Registration to teach with NESA and NESA Proficient Teacher Accreditation </p><p>If already registered with SCS please provide ID numbers </p><p> </p><p>Not Essential but Highly Desirable </p><p>Completed proficiency level Mathematical Expertise and Excellence SCS </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><br /></p>
