<p>SPECIFIC CRITERIA </p><p> </p><p>• Preferred qualifications or extensive experience in Special Education </p><p>• Experience in implementing the Individual Education Planning Process to support students with disabilities and learning difficulties in a mainstream school </p><p>• Evidence of embedded collaborative practices </p><p>• Evidence of highly developed planning, organisational and resource management skills </p><p>• Outstanding communication skills </p><p>• Successful experience in building the capacity of teachers to support children with disabilities </p><p>• Current knowledge of The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Disability Standards for Education. </p><p>• Current knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), its processes and obligation of schools. </p><p>• Ability to differentiate the curriculum to suit student needs </p><p> </p><p>Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese. </p><p>All applicants for teaching positions must complete a <a href="https://www.csodbb.catholic.edu.au/careers/Job-Application-Packages-" rel="nofollow">Teacher Application Form</a> and include a letter addressing the essential/specific criteria for the position and be mailed to the Principal. </p><p>Essential and specific criteria for each vacancy can be found under Employment Opportunities on our website: www.csodbb.catholic.edu.au </p><p><br /></p>
