<p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Secondary Science Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.</p> <p>Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and shares in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.</p> <p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Secondary Science Teacher to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p><strong>-To teach Secondary Science (Years 7-10) and one Stage 6 Science course.</strong></p> <p>-Substantial experience in teaching and programming</p> <p>-Sound knowledge of and commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education</p> <p>-Suitable qualifications and the ability to teach Science to Stages 4,5 and 6</p> <p>-The capacity to integrate technology and incorporate innovation in teaching practices</p> <p>-High effective interpersonal and communications skills&nbsp;</p> <p>-An ability to work as part of a team</p> <p>-Knowledge and experience of working with the National Curriculum&nbsp;</p> <p>-Understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students needs in order to maximise student learning.</p> <p>-Commitment to the continual improvement of their teaching practice and take opportunities for personal professional development.</p> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <p><strong>Preparedness to teach Stage&nbsp; 6 -&nbsp; "Investigating Science"&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p>Catholic Education within the Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment in its primary and secondary schools and for early learning and out of school hours care centres in western Sydney.
