This position is directly accountable to the Leader of Learning: Curriculum and the Leader of Learning: Innovation.  </p><p>The Diverse Needs Coordinator will be a member of the Curriculum Team and will support staff in continually developing their professional practice to extend the learning, outcomes and achievement of students with diverse learning needs, from Stages 4 to 6.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Demonstrable and sustained success as a classroom teacher, with extensive experience in the full gamut of Diverse Needs</li><li>Tertiary qualifications in Diverse Needs or relevant area</li><li>Proven successful experience in developing and leading a team in a middle management position</li><li>Ability and demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate quality relationships in working with all members of staff</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Postgraduate qualifications in Diverse Needs</li><li>Successful experience in a Diverse Needs leadership position</li><li>Proven skills in the use of the Cloudshare learning management system (Drive, Sites, Teacher Dashboard) and Sentral Welfare Database (Personal learning plans, reporting and markbook)</li><li>Willingness to lead and support co-curricular events</li></ul><p><br /></p>
