Good Shepherd is a co-educational Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Sydney. It is a K-6 school serving the parish of Hoxton Park. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dynamic leadership team committed to the growth of every learner.

<p>An effective classroom practitioner and leader (focusing on English) who is passionate about learning and committed to student (and teacher) growth. </p><p>Essential criteria includes the demonstration of the following:</p><ul><li>have a sound knowledge of and commitment to the Evangelising Mission of the Catholic Church </li><li>Religious Education qualifications according to the SACS Board Policy</li><li>a commitment to a shared vision for learning </li><li>a &#39;team player&#39; with the capacity to foster strong collaborative relationships</li><li>the ability to monitor and evaluate the implementation of teaching strategies within the school to improve student achievement (with a key focus in English) using research-based knowledge and data</li><li>the capacity to use the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers to support colleagues to identify and achieve personal development goals to improve classroom practice</li><li>a commitment to initiate and engage in professional discussions with colleagues in a range of forums to evaluate practice directed at improving professional knowledge and practice and the educational outcomes of students<br /></li><li>the capacity to work with colleagues to plan, evaluate and modify learning and teaching programs to create productive learning environments that engage all students</li></ul><p>Successful completion of the registration process to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools is essential, which includes a Working With Children Check.</p>
