<p>We are seeking an innovative and energetic educator who is qualified to teach in our College in this permanent, full-time position commencing in 2020.<br /></p><p><b>Essential Criteria</b></p><p>This position involves a range of English classes from Years 7 to 12 and experience in teaching Stage 6 English is essential.</p><ul><li>Degree appropriate teacher education qualification</li><li>Recent, active substantial professional development in teaching in English.</li><li>Recent interest in or exposure to best practice pedagogy in English.</li><li>Energy and enthusiasm for raising levels of girls’ achievement in English.</li><li>Sound and thorough knowledge of NESA curricula across English and a willingness to build up the same.</li><li>A willingness to lead, administer and contribute to the extensive extra-curricular program the College offers.</li><li>High level of interpersonal skills.</li><li>Recent experience in teaching junior Religious Education.</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education with Sydney Catholic Schools.</li></ul><p><b>Desirable criteria include</b></p><ul><li>Current HSC marking experience</li></ul><p>Applicants are asked to submit their curriculum vitae and append any supporting documentation or letters. </p><p>To apply, applicants must have NESA accreditation and be registered to teach with Sydney Catholic Schools or be in the process of. </p><p>Please provide the name and contact details of three referees, two of whom should be your current and immediate past employer.
