Marist College has seen an increase in enrolment in the last two years. With an increased cohort, a broader subject selection and therefore the creation of more teaching and learning roles, the College is preparing for an innovative future.

<p><b>Key Selection Criteria</b> </p><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following: </p><p>* Commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith. <br /></p><p>* Have a capacity to enliven the values of truth, empathy, excellence, curiosity and collaboration in students with regard to the Mission and Vision of Sydney Catholic Schools. </p><p>* SCS accreditation to teach Religious Education is essential. The applicant should have experience teaching Religious Education in Catholic Schools. </p><p>* Qualified and experienced to teach PDHPE as well as a background in Mathematics. </p><p>* Be able to demonstrate differentiated pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning. </p><p>* Be willing to undertake continued professional development and faith formation. </p><p>* Has a willingness to assist and lead students in extracurricular activities like coaching a sports team in summer and winter. </p><p>* Support the College’s scholastic initiatives and promote its innovation in light of the Strategic Plan. </p><p>* Be prepared to undertake leadership mentoring and training from peers and develop and demonstrate strong professional relationships with colleagues. </p><p><br /></p>
