<p><strong>                                                                     </strong></p> <p>St Mary’s Cathedral College is a boys&#39; College in the heart of the city adjacent to the Cathedral. Our mission is to develop Christian students inspired by the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice, in striving for excellence in a multitude of educational opportunities provided by the College. We espouse the evangelizing mission of the Church promoting Gospel Spirituality, Justice and Solidarity, an inclusive Community and Liberating Education. We are committed to creating a Christian environment, with the teachings of Jesus Christ at its core. The College has over 700 students in Years 7-12 and has existed on this site for over 190 years. The College is underpinned by the touchstones of the Order of the Christian Brothers who led this institution for 105 years prior to 2016.</p> <p> </p> <p>Essential Criteria:</p> <ul><li> <p>Ability to teach TAS subjects across Stages 4 to 6,  especially, Technology Mandatory, Industrial Technology Timber and Multimedia Stages 5 &amp; 6.</p> </li><li> <p>A thorough understanding of Workplace Health &amp; Safety requirements in TAS.</p> </li><li> <p>Exemplary classroom practice and suitable qualifications in Industrial Technology.</p> </li><li> <p>Dynamic and innovative practitioner of Industrial Technology with suitable experience in teaching, programming and assessment.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of NESA syllabi including; assessment &amp; reporting requirements which facilitate personalised learning.</p></li><li> <p>Confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning principles.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students.</p></li><li><p>Sound interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team member.</p></li><li><p>The ability to teach Religious Education may be an advantage.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>An understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College.</p><p><br /></p></li></ul>
