• Have the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and contemporary educational issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people; <br>• Have recent experience and expertise working in educational settings with a focus on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students; <br>• Have a competent level of literacy and numeracy; <br>• Implement and update Personalised Plans (PP’s) for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students including appropriate ‘in-class support’ of students; <br>• Implement literacy and /or numeracy interventions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who have not met NAPLAN, National Minimum Standards (NMS) or other relevant testing benchmarks; <br>• Have a sound understanding of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and networks; <br>• Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team. <br> <h3>Essential Criteria:</h3> <br> • Demonstrate experience in using and implementing/facilitating specific reading comprehension programs; <br>• Working With Children number must be recorded on your application. <br> <h3>Desirable Criteria:</h3> <br> <br> <h3>Renumeration:</h3> <br> Salary is in accordance with New South Wales &amp; Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2017. <br> <h3>Additional Info:</h3> <br> The covering letter attached to your curriculum vitae (full personal and contact details of referees) should address the criteria as outlined above.
