<p>The College is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate educator to be part of the HSIE team. The department comprises staff who teach Ancient and Modern History, History Extension, Geography, Economics, Business Studies, Society and Culture and Legal Studies. As well as Stages 4 and 5 Geography and History and Stage 5 Commerce and Elective History. </p><p>The successful candidate : </p><ul><li>Will be able to commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2020; </li><li>Will be an effective classroom teacher with an excellent understanding of the NSW Curriculum and pedagogy; </li><li>Will have demonstrated the ability to differentiate teaching, learning and assessment practices to meet the diverse needs of students and engage students in purposeful learning; </li><li>Will be able to effectively integrate technology to maximise student outcomes and engagement; </li><li>Will have highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff; </li><li>Will have effective collaborative skills to work as part of a team. </li></ul><p>Working with Children Check information must be supplied at the point of application. </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
