We are seeking a qualified Student Wellbeing Coordinator in a contract position until the end of 2019, with a view to ongoing.

<p>Portside Christian College is a co-educational, interdenominational College that caters for students from three years of age in the Early Learning Centre to Year 12 students supported by our Trade Training Centre.</p><p>At Portside Christian College, we endeavour to help each student reach their full potential through high quality education coupled with supportive relationships with parents and students.</p><p>• Negotiated start date from mid-Term 3, 2019 </p><p>• Contract for one year with possibility ongoing permanent position (0.8-1.0 FTE)</p><p>• Delivery of Chaplaincy/Religious Pastoral Support Work services to the College community </p><p>The Student Wellbeing Coordinator will lead a small team of staff, be well informed of best-practice research in implementing wellbeing, protective and preventative health programs. They will have experience in leading a team and counselling students from Foundation to Year 12 in a range of sensitive and complex situations including trauma and mental health. The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of external student support and advisory agencies and possess a desire to develop successful programs that promote student engagement, self-regulation and social emotional learning contributing to a positive school culture.
