<p>We are seeking a Resource Planning Officer to be accountable for assisting system leaders with understanding allocation, utilisation and forecast of business unit and school staffing, maintaining team data and reporting to support team outcomes.</p> <p>Suitable to a candidate with some workforce planning or resource coordination experience; this position plays an integral role within high-impact staffing activities across 82 schools and the central office of our organisation. A consultative mindset, a head for numbers and an understanding of data integrity in workforce practices would be highly beneficial for this role.</p> <p dir="ltr">The Resource Planning Officer is accountable for:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Supporting leaders in the allocation of formula and need-based staffing</li> <li dir="ltr">Updating and ensuring data accuracy using available tools, providing reliable utilisation and forecasts based on approved and anticipated requests</li> <li dir="ltr">Maintaining a schedule of pertinent reports and responding quickly and accurately to ad-hoc reporting requests</li> <li dir="ltr">Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in processes and systems through the provision of relevant data and a comprehensive understanding of past staffing practices</li> <li dir="ltr">Ensuring demand fulfilment by anticipating and modeling change in existing and new staffing structures</li> <li dir="ltr">Providing support and expertise to Leaders in understanding allocations and tools throughout staffing cycles</li> </ul> <p>Typical experience and qualifications</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area of study</li> <li dir="ltr">Appropriate demonstrated experience</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">The Organisation</p> <p>Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment in its primary and secondary schools and for early learning and out of school hours care centres in western Sydney.
