<p><b>About the Organisation</b></p><p><i>Children First</i> is a community-based not-for-profit group of Children’s Centres and Family Support Services that provides preschool, long day care, occasional care, before and after school care, and vacation care services in the Blacktown area.</p><p><b>About the Opportunity </b></p><p><i>Children First</i> has an exciting full-time opportunity for an <b>Early Childhood Teacher</b> to join their professional team based in Blacktown, NSW.</p><p>Reporting to the Centre Manager, working in a well-resourced facility with five rooms catering to 90 children, you will be providing quality childcare for children aged 0 – 5.</p><p>More specifically, some of your key duties will include:</p><ul><li>Liaising with and leading classroom staff on a regular basis;</li><li>Planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate educational programme;</li><li>Leading liaisons with outside organisations and any relevant specialists;</li><li>Interpreting and identifying children&#39;s individual needs and assessing their developmental levels;</li><li>Implementing an anti-bias curriculum that provides a scope of culturally sensitive experiences; and</li><li>Maintaining and implementing preventative measures for effective behaviours management/modification.</li></ul><p><b>About the Benefits</b></p><p>You&#39;ll be rewarded for your commitment with an <b>attractive remuneration package circa $30 - $35/ph plus super </b>(commensurate with skills and experience).
