St. Gerard's are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Learning Support Officer who enjoys working as part of a team, is able to take direction from teachers and leadership and has a passion for working with and assisting students in their learning.

To find out more about how CEM handles personal information, you are encouraged to read the CEM Privacy Policy.</p><p>St. Gerard&#39;s Primary School community is committed to the safety, well being and protection of all children in our care. </p><p>This position is for a part-time Learning Support Officer to work in supporting students in their learning. The successful applicant would: </p><ul><li>    work under the direction of the Learning Diversity Leader to support students and implement programs </li><li>    implement the personalised learning plan for each child in collaboration with the student&#39;s teacher and Learning Diversity Leader.</li></ul><p>In delivering each student&#39;s program the successful applicant will need to: </p><ul><li>    implement classroom adjustments for learning and programs for students </li><li>    keep relevant program documentation </li><li>    collaboratively evaluate your program on an ongoing basis </li><li>    record contact with each student in terms of goals, resources and assessment as directed by the Learning Diversity Leader </li><li>    if requested, prepare for and attend PSG meetings following the developed PLP </li><li>    implement intervention programs as directed by the school&#39;s Learning Diversity Leader </li><li>    maintain students&#39; privacy and confidentiality </li><li>    complete other duties as directed by the Principal, Deputy Principal or Learning Diversity Leader </li><li>    attend staff meetings if requested.</li></ul><p>This position is for 20 hours per week over 5 days a week.</p>
