The teaching and learning at our school is contemporary, where collaboration and a willingness to work and learn as a team member is fundamental to the way we create an effective learning environment for our students. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Knowledge and teaching experience of the Victorian Curriculum, with a willingness to develop programs to suit every child is expected of all staff at St Elizabeth&#39;s. </p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p>Special Requirements </p><p>The successful applicant will be required to: </p><p> </p><p>plan and teach Dance, Drama and Music from the Victorian Curriculum to children from Foundation - Year 6, where the children will be given many opportunities to showcase their talents </p><p>assess and report against the Victorian Curriculum to demonstrate student improvement </p><p>support classroom teachers in the planning and implementing of termly Productions to the school community </p><p>help lead the school choir </p><p>help create and run extra curricular programs for our children e.g. Dance club, Drumming, Drama club etc </p><p>display initiative and commitment to ongoing improvement </p><p>have an understanding of the importance of home/school relationships </p><p>be adaptable and have a sense of humour. </p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p>The position is FTE 0.55 over three days. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p>This position will begin at the start of Term 3 for the remainder of the 2019 school year. This is a Maternity Leave position with the possibility of continuing the position in 2020.</p>
