A career opportunity as a Digital Literacies Specialist is available for commencement in 2020.
The Digital Literacies Specialist Teacher is an essential part of the Primary Division, leading staff, students and the community towards a 21st Century approach when integrating digital literacies as a core capability. They will combine a high level of knowledge in the innovative use of digital literacies across the curriculum, best practice approaches towards successful technology facilitation and a high level of interpersonal skills.
<p><b>Teaching Allocation: </b><br /></p><p>This position will hold teaching responsibilities of 0.7 for Digital Literacies and 0.3 for covering Head of Year release.
</p><p><b>Essential Criteria:
</b></p><p><b>•</b> Experienced and successful classroom teacher
</p><p>• Highly developed ICT skills and deep understanding of digital literacies practice an integration.
</p><p>• Capacity to liaise with multiple stakeholders, including the Library and Information Services team.
</p><p>• Understanding and experience in leading curriculum development.
</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to create highly engaging professional learning experiences for both staff and students based on individual and group needs.
</p><p>• Qualifications and recent experience appropriate to the specialisation of Digital Literacies.
