<p>The Workforce Administration Officer works as a collaborative member of the Workforce Administration team within the greater Human Resource Services team of the Catholic Schools Office (CSO). The Workforce Administration team delivers service to CSO and school staff regarding the appointment and ‘set up’ procedures of new hires as well as adjustments to existing employment and staffing arrangements. </p><p>The workload is heavily data focussed requiring the successful applicant to accurately and efficiently process new hires/adjustments to existing employment arrangements into the HR/Payroll System. A significant portion of the workload is also to draft and distribute contracts of employment. </p><p><b>Benefits and perks </b></p><ul><li>Great work life balance </li><li>Friendly and helpful team </li><li>Salary sacrifice </li><li>Leave loading and additional leave </li><li>Close to public transport, shops, restaurants and amenities </li><li>Opportunities for further development and training </li><li>Flexible working conditions </li><li>Great culture </li></ul><p><b>Skills and experience</b></p><ul><li>Recent exposure to Human Resources, data entry and/or contract preparation or other secretarial/office administration work where high attention to detail was essential</li><li>Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all new hires and changes to existing employment arrangements for school and CSO staff;</li><li>Administers HR related documentation such as contracts of employment; </li><li>Maintains HR records and ensures data processed is accurate and up to date.;</li><li>Liaise with other HR functions, such as payroll, recruitment and employment relations to ensure business processes are aligned with legislative requirements and CSO’s pre-employment checks.</li></ul><p><b>To be successful in your new role you will need to demonstrate</b></p><ul><li>Superior attention to detail and accuracy, good punctuation, spelling and grammar;</li><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel) and Google suite;</li><li>Ability to work to tight deadlines; </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills;</li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills;</li><li>Proven experience and knowledge of employee ‘set up’ processes and procedures; </li><li>Proven ability to undertake independent actions, show initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team;</li><li>Experience working with PeopleSoft v9.2 preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided. </li></ul><p><b>Applicants are asked to fill in the application form and a cover letter, indicating how your experience and qualifications enable you to demonstrate the specified criteria for this position.
