<h4>Marist Regional College, Burnie </h4><p><br /></p><p>The Executive Director of Catholic Education Tasmania invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced teachers for the Acting Principal Position from 8 July 2019 to 31 December 2019.</p><p> </p><p>Marist Regional College is a co-educational school and caters for students from Grade 7 - Grade 12. It has a current enrolment of 741 students. </p><p> Whilst the role will consist of requisite educational leadership accountabilities the successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate: </p><ul><li>A commitment to, and well-developed capacity to take forward, the mission and evangelisation of the Catholic Church </li><li>A passion for building a school environment that unconditionally supports diversity, inclusion and pastoral responsibilities </li><li>Exceptional capabilities to effectively build and sustain positive organisational relationship within the school and extended community </li></ul><p> </p><h5>Key Result Areas </h5><p> </p><p>Candidates should have the background, experience and abilities to: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Influence and enrich the lives of students, staff and other members of the school community </li><li>Ensure effective leadership and management of the school community and resources to deliver sustainable outcomes </li><li>Ensure effective learning and teaching to ensure that all students received quality education </li><li>Enhance the technical capability, personal and team effectiveness of staff and self </li><li>Improve the school outcomes through effective leadership of improvement, innovation and change processes </li><li>Ensure deep engagement and effective relationships that promotes sound life long learning within the diverse community</li></ul><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing. The successful candidate will require satisfactory registrations relevant to child safety.</p><p>The position will be by ‘invitation’ from the Executive Director, in consultation with the applicant’s current school. The appointment process will include an interview.
