<p><b>Teacher of Mathematics</b></p><p><i><b>Capacity to teach Stage 6 Engineering Studies is preferred</b></i></p><p><b>Temporary position with the possibility of permanency.</b></p><p>Applicants must be able to demonstrate:</p><p>• High levels of classroom competence. </p><p>• Strong leadership skills with an enthusiastic approach to innovative teaching and learning. </p><p>• An enthusiastic approach to innovative teaching and learning, including: </p><p> - willingness to use Cultures of Thinking techniques in teaching and learning activities </p><p> - approaching Mathematics from a growth mindset framework. </p><p>• The ability to write challenging, engaging and inclusive assessment tasks. </p><p>• Knowledge of NESA curriculum (or equivalent) in Mathematics for Stages 4, 5 and 6. </p><p>• Experience in writing programs for Mathematics and/or Engineering Studies. </p><p>• Experience in teaching HSC Mathematics at all levels. </p><p>• An ability to integrate and utilise ICT effectively in the classroom. </p><p>• A high standard of organisational and time management skills. </p><p>• The ability to work in a dynamic team environment and proven ability to relate to staff,  students and parents. </p><p>• The willingness to be involved in our diverse co-curricular program. </p><p><br /></p>
