<p>As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Credit Assessment Officer is accountable for working with families and schools to resolve issues of hardship that affect school fee payments.</p> <p><strong>The Credit Assessment Officer is accountable for:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Working in conjunction with Family Assistance Officers in identification of families in hardship.</li> <li dir="ltr">Interviewing families and conducting financial analysis on their circumstances.</li> <li dir="ltr">Working with families in a supportive and equitable manner and compassionately communicating with families experiencing financial hardship to ensure student retention.</li> <li dir="ltr">Recommending action plans once a family has been assessed and/or interviewed.</li> <li dir="ltr">Contributing to the development and improvement of school fee liaison processes and procedures</li> </ul> <p><strong>Typical Experience and Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study</li> <li dir="ltr">Appropriate demonstrated experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p>Catholic Education within the Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment in its primary and secondary schools and for early learning and out of school hours care centres in western Sydney.
