<p>We're seeking a Grounds Maintenance Employee who will be responsible to support the other services of a school, including but not limited to cleaning, building and grounds maintenance.</p> <p><br>Your responsibilities will include;&nbsp;</p> <p>-Non-specialised general grounds and building maintenance repair work</p> <p>-Operating, maintaining and adjusting turf machinery under general supervision;</p> <p>-Providing assistance to qualified tradespersons in building and furniture maintenance;</p> <p>-Maintaining the School lawns, gardens, outdoor area equipment</p> <p>-Assisting in the set-up of School events and functions across campus</p> <p>-Managing the distribution of deliveries and unpacking of goods and resources</p> <p>-Be willing to undertake a medical assessment</p> <p>It is essential that you;</p> <p>-Have demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</p> <p>-Have demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines</p> <p>-Have demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel</p> <p>-Have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multitask</p> <p>-Have knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety precautions and practices</p> <p>-Have a current Working With Children Check</p> <p>-Support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools</p> <p>The position attracts a remuneration of $25.50/hour for unqualified applicants to $29.98/hour for qualified applicants.</p> <p><strong>The Organisation<br><br></strong>Catholic Education within the Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment in its primary and secondary schools and for early learning and out of school hours care centres in western Sydney.
