<p><b>About the business </b></p><p>The Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Broken Bay supports the work of school principals and staff, parents and Parish priests in providing quality education to students from Kindergarten to Year 12 living in the northern suburbs of Sydney and the Central Coast of New South Wales. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>This new role has been designed to assist leaders within the Diocesan School System (DSS) in applying principles of psychology to analyse, implement and lead strategies and initiatives in the areas of conflict resolution, leadership mentoring and coaching, employee engagement and general employee wellbeing. </p><p><b>Key Accountabilities </b></p><ul><li>Oversee health &amp; wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives, including evaluation of initiatives; </li><li>Support the ongoing development of a culture where health, safety and employee wellbeing is integral to the way work is performed; </li><li>Facilitate and implement conflict resolution programs underpinned by restorative justice principles and performance improvement; </li><li>Develop and facilitate professional learning opportunities for employees to manage complaints and conflict situations more effectively; </li><li>Develop the capacity in leaders and managers to lead performance based coaching conversations, in conjunction with other system leaders; </li><li>Support leaders in building leadership density and professional growth opportunities; </li><li>Manage the leadership mentoring and coaching programs and partnerships, in conjunction with other system leaders; </li><li>Design instruments to collect employee engagement and experience data to strengthen the culture of assurance and performance improvement; and </li><li>Manage the design, development and coordination of employee surveys to provide feedback and solutions. </li></ul><p><b>Skills and experience </b></p><ul><li>Able to demonstrate foundational knowledge and experience in implementing and embedding leadership and wellbeing programs; </li><li>Able to critically analyse data to inform the training and development needs of employees; </li><li>Demonstrated experience in facilitating disputes and conflict situations; </li><li>Experience in initiating and organising employee engagement programs and projects; </li><li>Master of Organisational Psychology or degree qualified in Organisational Development, Psychology or Human Resources; </li><li>Minimum 5 years&#39; experience in a position within Organisational Development/Psychology; </li><li>Personal commitment to the Catholic life, Mission and objectives of the DSS. </li></ul><p>To apply for this position please complete the attached application form and email along with an up to date resume and cover letter indicating how your experience and qualifications enable you to demonstrate the specified criteria for this position to hr&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au </p><p><b>Closing Date: 28 April 2019 </b></p><p><br /></p>
