<p><b>SPECIFIC CRITERIA </b></p><ul><li>12 months Maternity Leave position </li><li>Be able to commence in Week 9 of Term 2. </li><li>Ability and experience in teaching Science with Stage 6 Biology is essential. </li><li>Possess a genuine passion for teaching.  </li><li>Be inspirational and motivating.  </li><li>Be able to contribute to the College’s goals of improving students’ literacy and critical thinking skills. </li><li>Be able to create a positive learning environment in the classroom and promote student responsibility for learning. </li><li>Have experience and a willingness to effectively integrate information technology in the delivery of teaching programs. </li><li>Be enthusiastic to work collaboratively as a member of a team. </li></ul><p> Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese. </p><p> All applicants for teaching positions must complete a Teacher Application Form (available on our website) and include a letter addressing the essential/specific criteria for the position.
