<p>Champagnat Catholic College is seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join the Diverse Learning Needs Department, who has demonstrated a capacity to support classroom practitioners and the ability to work with students who have a variety of learning needs and or disabilities. </p><p><b> Essential Criteria: </b></p><ul><li> The successful applicant will have: </li><li>Commitment to Catholic education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support faith formation of students. </li><li>Appropriate tertiary qualifications and approval to teach in NSW </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of the Disability Standards for Education (2005) and the adjustments needed to enable student’s access to achieving outcomes of each syllabus. </li><li>An understanding of and ability to assist with the differentiation of curriculum and assessment </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students, staff and medical practitioners </li><li>Exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to integrate these into a wide range of curriculum applications </li><li>Ability to critically reflect on their own teaching practice </li><li>A willingness to be involved in the College’s co-curricular activities </li></ul><p><b> Application Process: </b></p><p>Please email your resume and cover letter of introduction which addresses the essential criteria to joanne.kessey&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au by the closing date.
