<p>St John’s Catholic Primary School, Auburn is a co-educational primary school which provides a Catholic education for over 200 students. We believe all children can grow in their learning when there is collaboration between our staff and parents, fostering the growth of every student.</p><p>We are looking for an experienced and innovative School Office Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Principal and be a welcoming face of our school.</p><p>This role is part time working 2 days per week.</p><p>This position requires a high level of interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. The successful applicant will be a flexible and adaptable person who has the capacity to take initiative in the provision of support and be a part of a collaborative team. High level computer and technology skills are a must.</p><p><br /></p><p>Key tasks of the role include:</p><ul><li>Providing administrative support to various members of the school community <br /></li><li>Assisting in school processes including enrolments, publications, ordering, staff records, work health and safety, facilities management </li><li>Organisation of staff meetings, professional development and school community events as required</li><li>Manage student support services including front desk/office reception, student first aid and other student support</li><li>Assisting in processing of school fees, payments and invoices, banking, school census, orders/purchasing and excursions</li></ul><p>Essential Skills and Qualifications</p><ul><li>Minimum 3 years experience in administration/professional support </li><li>Experience in customer/client service roles</li><li>Experience working with a range of computer systems and software</li><li>Post secondary qualification equivalent to Certificate III or IV or Diploma in administration, business or HR</li><li>Some experience in or exposure to, finance processes including budgets, invoices, bank reconciliations and ordering.</li></ul><p>If you are self motivated and organised, thrive in a busy front desk role and have a warm and friendly nature, this may be a role that will suit you. </p><p>This is a permanent position working 30 hours per fortnight (two days a week).
