<p>The Executive Director of Schools invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for the following Leadership position: </p><ul><li><b>Located at the Inner Western Regional Office, Lidcombe </b></li><li><b>Commencement date: Term 2 to be negotiated </b></li><li><b>Closing Date: 25 March 2019 </b></li></ul><p>This is a senior leadership position. As a senior leader in Sydney Catholic Schools, the Student Wellbeing Coordinator K-12 collaborates with the Regional Consultant(s), the Principal, the School Leadership Team and the Head: Student Wellbeing and Pastoral Care to take forward the Mission of the Church with a focus on evangelisation and student wellbeing.</p><p>The role is significant in contributing to the continuous improvement of student wellbeing which is integral to the System’s strategic improvement agenda. This will require the building of whole school capacity to enable a better understanding of the needs of student wellbeing.</p><p>The Student Wellbeing Coordinator will be expected to lead the Inner Western Student Wellbeing Team and to build leadership capacity through drawing on his/her specialised knowledge of, and experience in, student wellbeing and learning, through the use of coaching and mentoring.</p><p>The role requires a clear understanding of the Student Wellbeing agenda, which will enable the Student Wellbeing Coordinator and his/her team to identify the needs of the school community in order to develop whole school strategies for student wellbeing and the provision of effective professional learning.</p><p>The role requires a flexible, adaptable leader who has the capacity to think strategically in order to best enable the provision of student wellbeing services.
