<p><b>The Catholic Schools Office - Diocese Of Broken Bay are looking for casual Learning Support Assistants/Medical and Teachers Aides to be part of our casual pool. </b></p><p><b>SPECIFIC CRITERIA </b></p><p>• Supportive, optimistic, reliable and flexible. </p><p>• Ability to work collaboratively and in an inclusive team in the School’s Learning Support model. </p><p>• Strong verbal and written communication skills. </p><p>• Ability to establish positive relationship with students, staff and parents. </p><p>• Ability to work with individual students, small groups and support students in whole class settings. </p><p>• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development. </p><p>• Ability to accurately record, monitor and discuss children’s learning and communicate progress with Learning Support Teacher and Class Teachers. </p><p><b>DESIRABLE CRITERIA </b></p><p>• Knowledge and experience in learning technology to stimulate interest in students’ learning. </p><p>• Experience in working with students who have self-care needs – feeding, toileting and mobility. </p><p>• Certificate III, IV </p><p>All applicants for school support staff positions must submit a CV including details of three nominated referees and include a letter addressing the essential/specific criteria and the attached application form.
