<p>St Finn Barr’s Catholic School is a primary co-educational school catering for 313 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.   <br /></p><p> The school is seeking applications from suitability qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education for the following position to be based at Invermay. </p><h4> Finance Officer <br /></h4><h5>Ongoing, Part-time </h5><h5>(30 hours per fortnight) </h5><p> </p><p>This part-time ongoing position will assist the Principal with the financial management of the school and be required to demonstrate: </p><ul><li>Effectiveness in financial and accounting functions (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and end of month procedures) </li><li>Experience in preparing and analysis of budget and monthly financial reports </li><li>Ability to follow specified policies, procedures and internal control and audit processes </li><li>Experience in maintaining personnel records and payroll system for staff </li><li>Proficiency in the use of computerised processing and commercial finance systems </li><li>Strong time management and organisational abilities in an office environment </li><li>Ability to work cooperatively within a wider team environment </li><li>Commitment to personal and team effectiveness </li></ul><p> Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.</p><p> The successful candidate will be required to hold a valid Working with Vulnerable People registration and undertake a satisfactory National Police Record Check prior to commencement.</p><p> To download an application package and application for employment form, click the attachments below.</p><p><b>Applications close: Friday 29 March 2019 at 3:00pm </b></p>
