School Counsellor/Psychologist Position Commencing 2019. Available as Contract, P/T Permanent 0.6 minimum, or up to F/T 1.0 by negotiation. Kinder - Yr 12 St Mark's College is located in Wattle Grove, easily accessible 2 minutes via Heathcote Rd Exit M5

<p>We are seeking an experienced and passionate School Counsellor to join our dedicated team of professionals on a 3-day - up to full-time per week (may be negotiated). </p><p> The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children and adolescents across K to Year 12. </p><p> As the School Counsellor/Psychologist, you will provide confidential and professional counselling service to students from K - Year 12 for a wide range of wellbeing concerns, including social, emotional and academic needs. </p><p> The successful applicant will play an integral part in fostering the wellbeing of students through a proactive and supportive counselling approach. You will work in collaboration with the Staff as well as the Leadership and Pastoral Care teams to encourage and promote student wellbeing across the College. </p><p> The successful applicant will have all relevant qualifications and experience working with children and adolescents in the provision of counselling support within a school environment. </p><p> Essential Criteria: </p><p> - Current AHPRA registration </p><p>- Ability to work with students across the K to Year 12 age range </p><p>- Experience as a skilled and committed School Psychologist with proven experience in supporting the wellbeing of young children through effective diagnosis, counselling and other suitable forms of engagement </p><p>- Working with Children Clearance </p><p>- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications</p><p>Applicants are to be practicing Christians.  Please submit your application via email by 21 March 2019 including 3 Referrees of which one should be your Parish Priest/Minister of Religion.  <br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
