<p>Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is a community of thirty-eight schools, colleges and the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office with 2,500 staff supporting 16,000 students. </p><p>The CET Executive Director is seeking to appoint an Assistant Director: Government, Policy and Strategy to a newly created role in the Directorate. </p><p>The role will be instrumental in delivering high level strategic projects and proactive in shaping the state and federal level political and policy environment as it relates to the operation of Catholic schools in Tasmania. </p><p>This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on CET through exceptional partnering ability and talent in identifying opportunities to enhance Governance effectiveness. To be successful you will be required to demonstrate: </p><ul><li>A strong commitment to and well-development capacity as a role model of Catholic values </li><li>Extensive knowledge of the Catholic Education context </li><li>Strategic insight, identification and delivery of key strategies aligned to strategic direction </li><li>Extensive knowledge and experience in Governance, Policy and Strategy </li><li>Development of strong stakeholder relationships that drive outcomes </li><li>Advice on critical political and Governance issues and risk </li></ul><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate significant relevant experience and hold post-graduate qualifications in Education, Leadership, Governance, Public Policy or complimentary area. </p><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
