<p>Catholic Education Tasmania is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education for the following position to be based at our New Town office. </p><h4> Payroll Support Officer (Re-advertised)</h4><p> This vital role reports to the Payroll Coordinator and is accountable for the provision of centralised payroll services to the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office and the Tasmanian shared funded Catholic schools throughout the state. </p><p>The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate experience in specialist operational payroll functions and the following technical capabilities: </p><ul><li>Autonomously coordinate and ensure effective delivery of accurate, timely and client focused payroll processing functions, including taxation and superannuation </li><li>Undertake complex payroll calculations and transactions, and provide an advisory, mentoring and support role to school payroll staff </li><li>Proven experience in delivering reporting requirements as per legislation </li><li>Self-motivated and committed to a team environment to deliver effective Corporate Services outcomes </li><li>Ability to establish networks, build strong relationships and engage with stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes </li></ul><p>The successful candidate will have extensive experience and demonstrated proficiency in relevant field and/or hold tertiary level qualifications in Finance, Business Management, Accounting or other relevant discipline. </p><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
