School Background Having commenced in 2017, St Luke's at Marsden Park is a next generation learning community within the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP). As a next generation Catholic Learning Community we are designing and establishing the new normal for preschool to post school learning in an environment characterised by a flexible, stage based curriculum which nurtures and grows faith-filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world. Part of this sees St Luke?s provide an engaging, learning focused Activities Club as part of an extended school day. <br>Role Outline<br>Reporting directly to the Activities Club Coordinator, the successful applicants will be able and willing to assist with the delivery of learning focused activities as part of an extended school day. The Activities Club Assistants are reliable and flexible people who are responsible for:<br>Working collaboratively to assist with the delivery of a comprehensive, learning focused approach to an extended school day.<br>Assisting in the setup, pack up, organisation, supervision and delivery of Activities Club as directed by the relevant supervisor.<br>Contributing to a culture of teamwork and display a willing cooperation to ensure excellence in the delivery of the Club?s activities.<br><br>

Key Accountabilities:<br>Support and assist the evangelising mission of Catholic education.<br>Assist in the organisation and supervision of the St Luke?s Activities Club and participate in and contribute to its day-to-day operations.<br>Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide quality learning focused activities in a friendly, welcoming and caring environment which enables the cultural, social and emotional development of students.<br>Effective communication, problem solving and organisational skills.<br>Create and maintain an interactive and caring environment for Activity Club members.<br>Adaptability and flexibility ensuring successful learning focused activities.<br>Willingness to uphold the policies and procedures of the Activities Club.<br>Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willing to obtain) and Class C Driver?s License.<br><br>All successful applicants will be casually employed for between 14 to 20 hours per fortnight during the school term. Hours of work are usually from 2:15/30pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.<br>Certificate III qualified personnel will be paid at $27.56. Unqualified casual hourly rate is $26.19.<br> <br> Start: 11/03/2019
