<p>Penrith Christian School is a well-established and vibrant Christian community, providing an exciting and innovative learning environment for over 800 Preschool to Year 12 students and an Early Childhood Centre registered for 50 students per day in our 21st Century Learning Facility at Orchard Hills. We are looking to employ external markers for key assessment tasks in a variety of stage 6 subjects, on a casual basis. Class sizes vary from course to course with the largest being Standard English with approximately 30 students. </p><p>We are seeking expressions of interest from committed Christians, active in their local church, to join our team on a casual basis to mark Stage 6 Assessments and Trial Examinations. The successful applicant/s will: </p><ul><li>Be an experienced teacher of their subject </li><li>Have recent HSC marking experience </li><li>Be detail orientated </li><li>Be able to work within deadlines and committed to marking a required number of assessments within the given timeframe </li><li>Ensure that marking is consistent with HSC outcomes and standards </li><li>Provide written feedback on assessment tasks against the marking criteria </li></ul><p> </p><p>Mandatory requirements include: </p><ul><li>Current Working With Children Check approval number <br /></li><li>An active Christian faith and current church involvement. </li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Applications close 4.00pm Tuesday 5 March 2019 </b><br /></p><p> </p>
