Part Time Visual Arts teacher (Maternity Leave) (Terms 2-4, 2019).

<p>Applications are invited for the following position:</p> <p> <strong> VISUAL ARTS K-6 TEACHER (PRIMARY)</strong></p> <p><strong></strong></p> <p><strong>1 TEMPORARY (Maternity Leave) PART TIME POSITION  ( 0.4fte- Monday and Tuesday)</strong></p><p><strong>Commencing 8 April 2019 (or Term 2, 29 April)</strong></p> <p> <em><strong>ESSENTIAL CRITERIA</strong></em></p><p><em> </em></p><ul><li><em>A sound knowledge of and commitment to supporting and assisting the evangelising mission of Catholic Education, and demonstrated personal faith practice</em></li><li><i>Hold or be studying Religious Education qualifications / accreditation according to SACS Board Policy</i></li><li><i>Enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative primary teacher with a passion for Creative/ Visual Arts</i></li><li><i>Effective communication with students, parents and staff, and able to contribute positively in a team</i></li><li><i>A sound knowledge and understanding of contemporary K-6 pedagogy, and currency with the new NESA K-6 Syllabus</i></li><li><i>Use diagnostic, formative and summative data, including observations, annotations, work samples and success criteria to inform &#39;next steps&#39; for student learning</i></li><li><i>Understanding of the needs and catering for diverse learners (EAL/D, Gifted)</i></li><li><i>Effective and positive approach in managing students and the classroom learning environment, fostering social and emotional skills and developing independent and collaborative learners</i></li><li><i>The ability to use digital technology effectively and creatively for student learning and professional learning</i></li><li><i>A passionate educator who values and is active in their own ongoing professional learning journey</i></li><li><i>Flexibility, strong communication, professionally resilient and highly organised</i></li><li><i>Parish Priest&#39;s reference (Place of regular worship) is essential, along with two educational referees</i></li><li><i>Know and apply NESA and Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) requirements for teaching and accreditation <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/" rel="nofollow">https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/</a> </i></li></ul><p>If you believe in making a real difference with children, and love being part of a welcoming and dynamic professional learning community, then we would like you to join us at St Agnes&#39;!</p>
