Special Needs Teacher has responsibility and accountability to ensure students with special needs and diversity have programs designed to individually cater for their needs. Programs are co-ordinated and collaboratively planned with Class Teachers and Learning Support Officers. Student data entry is critical in the utilisation of the Personalised Planning Tool (PPT). Special Needs teachers meet with parents and teachers to devise student goals and personalised plan to meet the students needs. This position is for immediate commencement in 2019 with the possibility for ongoing appointment.

</p><p>• Be a practising Catholic
</p><p>• Supportive of the Catholic Ethos, values and educational setting
</p><p>• Suitably qualified and accredited
to teach Special Needs students or have suitable experience</p><p>• Competent and effective teacher with experience to meet the diverse needs of students (EALD, Special Needs).
</p><p>• Have excellent communication skills and interpersonal style that is engaging and motivating
</p><p>• Have the ability to work collaboratively with a highly professional team
</p><p>• Have a solid understanding of contemporary teaching and learning
</p><p>• Experience using digital technologies as a tool for learning
and recording on PPT</p><p>• Be open to learning, passionate, dedicated and committed to the profession
