An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Learning Diversity team at CEM for a senior Psychologist.

<h4>ABOUT THE POSITION </h4><p>As a member of the Learning Diversity unit, the Psychologist Professional Practice Leader will provide functional leadership for a team of psychologists as well as expert support for schools with the inclusion of students with high intensity high frequency behaviours of concern, including students with autism. </p><h4>TO BE SUCCESSFUL </h4><ul><li>The successful candidate will have: </li><li>Proven ability to manage and lead a team of Psychologists with well-developed interpersonal skills </li><li>Extensive experience in the provision of quality, client centred psychological assessment and treatment advice in the context of a holistic framework and in a multi-disciplinary team setting </li><li>Experience in functional behaviour analysis and provision of practical advice to support the inclusion of students with behaviours of concern, including students with autism </li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop policy and implement sector-wide responses in education including behaviour support in line with NCCD guidelines </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, policy and legislation including the Disability Discrimination Act (1992), Disability Standards for Education, Equal Opportunity Act (2010), Child Safety Standards and APS code of ethics, as well as an ability to address the legal and ethical considerations related to the professional practice of psychology </li><li>AHPRA Registration as a Board Approved Supervisor </li><li>Extensive clinical and/or educational experience </li><li>Post graduate or further qualifications and/or experience in education are desirable </li><li>Current Victorian Driver’s Licence </li></ul><p>The successful applicant will also be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check. </p><h4> WHATS IN IT FOR YOU? </h4><ul><li>Professional development opportunities </li><li>Work/Life balance </li><li>The opportunity for flexible working arrangements </li></ul><h4><b><br /></b></h4><h4><b>HOW TO APPLY </b></h4><p><b>Applicants need to provide: </b><br /></p><p>a) a separate statement addressing the Key Selection Criteria; </p><p>b) a Cover Letter; and </p><p>c) an up to date Curriculum Vitae including contact details of two referees. </p><p> Applications can be uploaded via the ‘Apply’ tab on the CEM website.
